Palace Square - the main square of imperial Russia. You will see the Winter Palace, the General Staff building with its famous arch, and the Alexander Column. St. Isaac's Square - here you will see the grand St. Isaac's Cathedral and the equestrian monument to Emperor Nicholas I. The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood - a masterpiece of Russian mosaic art, built on the site of tragic events of the 19th century.
