: The Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps is one of the oldest and largest military museums in the world. Its history begins with the Zeughaus of the Peter and Paul Fortress, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 as a repository of "memorable and curious" artillery pieces. Today the museum is located in the Kronverk of the Peter and Paul Fortress - a unique fortification structure of the 19th century.

Open-air exhibition - hundreds of guns from different eras: from Peter's cannons and unicorns to legendary "Katyushas", tanks, self-propelled artillery mounts and missile systems. Here you will find unique examples of trophy equipment from the Napoleonic Wars, World War I and II, ship guns and coastal batteries.

Museum halls - more than 850,000 exhibits reflecting the history of artillery, small arms, edged weapons, engineering equipment and communications from the 15th century to the present day.
