GoOur address: Saint Petersburg, Vosstaniya St. 1
Petersburg captivates at first sight. In daylight, its imperial grandeur, clarity of lines, and architectural majesty unfold in full. The sun plays on gilded domes, reflects in the granite of embankments, and reveals every detail of magnificent facades. Streets, avenues, and squares literally breathe history and invite you to discover their remarkable past.
On this tour, you will see the main architectural landmarks of the historic center: the austere Kazan Cathedral, the monumental St. Isaac's, and the elegant Smolny. You will admire palaces, bridges, and monuments, learn how Petersburg was formed, and about the great figures whose destinies are inextricably linked with the Northern capital. Together, we will dive into the events that unfolded here and changed the course of Russian history.
The culmination of the program will be a tour of the majestic Marble Palace. You will not only admire the only palace in Petersburg whose facade is entirely clad in natural stone, but also step inside to appreciate the luxury of its interiors. Built for Count Orlov by Catherine II, the palace impresses with a variety of marbles, bronze, and gilding. Today, it houses a branch of the Russian Museum with a collection of contemporary art.
The tour route includes:
Smolny Cathedral - a magnificent example of Russian Baroque, a place where the destinies of the empire were decided. ~ 10 minutes, photo stop.
Tour of the Marble Palace - a visit to a unique architectural monument, the "palace of stone," and viewing its state rooms and exhibitions of the Russian Museum. ~ 1 hour.
Egyptian Sphinxes - ancient mythical creatures standing guard over the city on Universitetskaya Embankment. ~ 10 minutes, photo stop.
St. Isaac's Square - an architectural ensemble with a grand cathedral, a symbol of resilience and craftsmanship. ~ 10 minutes, photo stop.
Visit to an original Petersburg souvenir shop - an opportunity to keep memories of the city: from elegant replicas of "Fabergé eggs" and amber jewelry to author-designed postcards and aromatic coffee. ~ 25 minutes.
Feel the daytime rhythm of the imperial capital and touch the stone symphony of the Marble Palace!
