This is a trip to the country ceremonial residence of Russian emperors, spread over an area of about 400 hectares.
You will see one of the most impressive palace and park ensembles in Russia: more than 150 fountains, four grand cascades, shady parks, picturesque gardens, and palaces with access to the Gulf of Finland.
During the trip, the guide will introduce you to the history of Peterhof, a complex often called the 'capital of fountains.' You will see architectural masterpieces: the Hermitage pavilion, Monplaisir and Marly palaces, stroll through the Upper and Lower Parks, and see the main cascades and fountains.

Peterhof - the main imperial residence
Peterhof is the country residence of Russian emperors, founded by Peter I in the early 18th century on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It was created as a ceremonial palace center of the new capital and as a symbol of Russia's maritime power.
The total area of the museum-reserve is about 400 hectares. It includes the Upper Garden and the Lower Park, and the central dominant of the ensemble is the Grand Peterhof Palace, stretching along the terrace for almost 300 meters.
The layout of Peterhof is subject to strict geometry, perspectives, and symbolism of power. The ensemble unites architecture, water, and landscape into a single composition, considered one of the most impressive in Europe.
