In just one day, you will get to touch two completely different but equally great pages of Russian history. You will see the stern sea fortress and the magnificent "Russian Versailles," feeling the versatility and power of the Northern capital.
Kronstadt - Hero City
Our tour will begin with a meeting at Ligovsky Prospekt, 10, from where we will head to Kronstadt. Here we will take a fascinating walk through the city, which was built during the Northern War on an embankment in 1704 in just one winter! We will visit the recently restored Naval Cathedral, admire the cannons of Peter's Pier, make a wish in Peter's Park, and see the warships of the Baltic Fleet. We will also explore a real fortification - Fort Konstantin, which became a crucial part of the chain of defensive structures of Kronstadt and all of St. Petersburg.
Peterhof - Royal Residence
Next, we will head to Peterhof. We will see the Lower Park of the royal residence with its magnificent fountains and sculptures, stroll along shady alleys, and, if desired, we can also visit the Grand Palace. Our experienced guide will tell you what is important not to miss when exploring the imperial ensemble. You will have free time to get to know Peterhof personally, relax, and have a bite to eat. And then we will head home!
