Pavlovsk is an imperial residence created for Paul I at the end of the 18th century. The palace and one of Europe's largest landscape parks form a harmonious ensemble where architecture and nature are united in a single composition.

Pavlovsk is located south of St. Petersburg and is known as the residence of Emperor Paul I. Construction of the palace began in the 1780s, and the project was handled by leading architects of their time.
The main feature of the ensemble is considered to be Pavlovsk Park – a vast area with alleys, pavilions, bridges, and natural landscapes. Unlike regular parks, a landscape planning principle is applied here, creating a sense of natural space.
Pavlovsk Palace is distinguished by strict classical architecture and historical interiors. The complex is among the key monuments of suburban architecture and remains an important part of the region's cultural heritage.
