Veliky Novgorod

Veliky Novgorod is one of the oldest cities in Russia, located on the Volkhov River. The city is known for the Novgorod Kremlin, the 11th-century St. Sophia Cathedral, ancient monasteries, and unique archaeological finds, including birch bark manuscripts.
